A Prayer and a Posture for the Year Ahead

As we step into 2026, we want to begin this year with gratitude.

Gratitude for the ministries, nonprofits, and leaders we have the privilege of serving. Gratitude for the faithfulness it takes to keep showing up, even when the work feels heavy. And gratitude for the calling God has placed on each of you to lead with purpose in a world that deeply needs hope.

A new year brings fresh opportunity…not just to do more, but to lead with greater clarity, intention, and trust in the Lord.

Our Prayer for You in 2026

God, we ask for clarity when decisions feel heavy and direction feels unclear.
We ask for courage to take the next right step, trusting that You direct the path of those who seek You.
We ask for provision, not only financially, but in strength, endurance, and peace for the journey ahead.
We ask for wisdom as we steward what You’ve entrusted to us.
And we ask for impact, that every effort would bear fruit and point back to You.

Amen.

Setting the Tone Early

One of the most important strategies we encourage ministries to focus on at the beginning of the year is setting the tone early.

January isn’t about rushing into the next fundraiser. It’s about pausing long enough to ask the right questions:
• Are we clear on the vision God has given us?
• Do our donors understand where the mission is headed?
• Are we building relationships that will sustain the work all year long?

When clarity is established early, momentum follows naturally.

This month is a powerful time to reconnect with donors, communicate what’s ahead, and reinforce why the work matters (without urgency, pressure, or an immediate ask). These intentional steps create trust, strengthen relationships, and lay the foundation for long-term generosity and sustainable growth.

Faith and Strategy, Together

Scripture reminds us, “Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.” (Proverbs 16:3)

We believe faith and strategy are not opposites. They work best together. When your plans are committed to the Lord and rooted in clarity, your ministry is better positioned to move forward with confidence and peace.

Our prayer for you this year is wisdom, courage, provision, and lasting impact as you lead the work God has entrusted to you.

Here’s to a year led by faith, guided by strategy, and grounded in purpose.
